Addressing COVID-19 in Grenada

In Grenada, the local health authorities are addressing the COVID-19 pandemic, such that the students from the St. George’s University (SGU) were brought on as volunteers to help with the efforts for preventing and treating COVID-19. Shawndy Duncan, Casira Peters, and many other nursing students from the SGU were volunteering with these public efforts to prevent an increase in the cases of COVID-19 and treat patients with COVID-19. They accomplished this by administrating COVID-19 tests and vaccinations, providing results and educational materials, applying wound dressings, and performing blood sugar checks.
