Elephant Conservation Program in China

SEEDO Volunteer Tianrui Xie:

“From my own experiment and my personal perspective, I was very impressed by a six day trip on elephant conservation to improve people’s awareness on wild animals protection. It was my first time to Xishuangbanna where the ethnic minority culture was very different.

”During these few days, we first learned how to track an elephant by looking at their foot print and how to weigh them. Exploring their living habit was interesting.

”People should increase their awareness on environmental protection and increase their knowledge in order to protect animals habitats and provide them a suitable environment to live.”
