Vaccinating for COVID-19

In Ethiopia, the UN Refugee Agency aims to support the Ethiopian government in promoting vaccination for COVID-19 to the population, and to provide refugees with assistance and a safe refuge. Tut Yiech and Mary Nyabang are two South Sudanese refugee volunteers with the UN Refugee Agency who are dedicated to reducing cases of COVID-19 and helping to promote safety through vaccinations, in their community. Tut Yiech promotes vaccine uptake by pushing communication at food distributions, in schools, and in the health center. Mary is a role model for her peers and aims to increase COVID-19 awareness within her community.
