Supporting Communities during COVID-19 in Liberia

In Liberia, the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme is dedicated to promoting peace and development by integrating UN volunteers into development programming and promoting volunteering. Abraham Kanneh has volunteered with the UNV programme to help support his community in different ways during the pandemic. He helps his community members by creating an outreach strategy and distributing informational materials pertaining to COVID-19, monitoring and tracking cases of domestic violence as a result of the pandemic, and setting up study groups for children so they can maintain social contact and access to education.
