Training in First Aid in Pakistan
In Pakistan, the Pakistan Red Crescent Society aims to service and advocate for change in several sectors related to the UN Development Goals. A volunteer with the Red Crescent Society since 2016, Ikram Ullah has spearheaded a program that trains people in basic emergency first aid services. He believes that this kind of training, especially for youth, is an investment for the future. Recently, the focus has shifted to educating youth in these lifesaving skills. As the pandemic shut down in-person demonstrations, he took to virtual platforms such as TikTok and video sharing sites to continue to raise awareness, and he has gained a large following on those platforms.
